Terms of service
Article 1. Purpose and service
These terms describe use of Magnet between 2weeks and its users. Magnet provides guest accounts and optional email OTP sign-in, city-based travel records, photos and notes, magnet board placement, travel statistics, and image saving/sharing.
Article 2. Accounts and use
You can start as a guest and optionally connect an email you can access. Connecting an unused email keeps the same account and records; it does not merge another existing account. Guest records cannot be recovered after losing the session unless you connected an email first. Keep your account secure and do not misuse other accounts, verification codes, or server/user data. Changing an already connected email and administrator-assisted record recovery are not available in the first release.
Article 3. User content
Rights to uploaded photos, notes, and other content remain with the user or the rightful owner. Users must have the rights necessary to upload, store, and share their content. The operator processes content only as needed to provide that user with records, boards, statistics, and shared images. Records are not automatically made public to other users.
Article 4. Saving and network access
Records, edits, deletions, placements, and preference changes are confirmed after successful server storage. If the network connection fails, the app shows an error and an explicit way to try again. Local drafts do not replace server storage. Offline browsing, automatic upload queues, iCloud backup, and ZIP export of records are not provided.
Article 5. Images and external apps
Saving images requires permission to add photos. You choose the destination and whether to send through the operating system share sheet. Shared images are handled under the receiving app's policies. Canceling sharing does not delete or change existing travel records.
Article 6. Service changes and interruptions
The operator may change the service for maintenance and improvements. When maintenance, network interruptions, or other issues limit access, the service will provide status and retry guidance where possible. These terms do not unfairly restrict statutory user rights or provide a blanket exclusion of operator liability.
Article 7. Account deletion
You can end your use of the service through account deletion in Settings after two confirmations. Confirmed deletion removes records, photos, and authentication information and blocks account access. Failed cleanup is not marked as complete and a retry path is provided. Completed deletions cannot be recovered in the app. Signing out differs from deleting an account and keeps server records.
Article 8. Privacy and contact
A separate privacy policy governs processing of personal information. Contact contact@2weeks.kr for service, account, or rights-related requests. These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea and do not limit rights granted by law.
Article 9. Changes to these terms
Changes and their effective dates will be announced in the app. If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using the service by deleting your account. Effective November 1, 2026.
